We are often asked for holiday home recommendations for families with children, and now we have something particularly enjoyable to suggest - The Peaceful Vacation guesthouse in Mustjala is a spacious and beautiful holiday home that comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. It is simply perfect for a relaxing and social vacation in a scenic natural setting! Whether it's a collective family vacation, a team event, or even a small private wedding celebration - this Peaceful Vacation guesthouse has enough space and activities for everyone.
In fact, The Peaceful Vacation encompasses three beautiful holiday homes in Saaremaa - Villa R and Villa M located near Kuressaare in Muratsi, accommodating up to 6 people each. They are perfect for family vacations or for two couples to enjoy a summer getaway together!
Our latest stop was at 'The Palace,' the largest holiday home of The Peaceful Vacation, located near Lake Konuti.The main house features a spacious living room with an open kitchen, equipped with everything necessary for cooking and enjoying meals. Coffee enthusiasts will be delighted with the Jura coffee machine and milk frother.
And what's really cool is that you can invite a personal chef to prepare meals for your group on-site, or have their dishes delivered at the desired time. Additionally, you can rent an ATV on-site to explore the surrounding forest.There are plenty of options available, so it's definitely worth discussing them with the hosts of The Peaceful Vacation.
In addition, the living room features a large dining table and an electric fireplace, along with a large TV and a comfortable sofa. From the living room, a corridor leads to the bedrooms, but before that, on the left, there is a toilet and a spacious shower room.
On the ground floor, there are three double bedrooms, one of which also has a baby crib. Additionally, there is a small utility room on the ground floor, equipped with everything necessary to ensure a comfortable stay, even for longer vacations.
The staircase leads to the fourth bedroom on the second floor. Each bedroom is equipped with bedding and storage space. Both from the living room and the bedrooms, you can step directly onto the sunny terrace, where comfortable sun loungers await, allowing you to bask in the sun all day long - the terrace is bathed in sunlight throughout the day!
And for example, children can run and play on a very large and spacious lawn field. The house is also equipped with everything necessary for an active holiday, such as badminton rackets and more. Playing badminton became our favorite pastime and a reason to get a nice sun-kissed complexion :)
Next to the main house is a spacious sauna building. On the ground floor, there is a beautiful lounge area, a toilet, and a sauna anteroom. From there, you can access another toilet and a large shower room, which leads to a wonderfully spacious sauna room.
And the sauna heats up very quickly!
In front of the sauna building, there is a particularly pleasant relaxation area with two rocking chairs and a view of a modern panoramic outdoor kitchen. I believe that this sauna area and outdoor kitchen are the heart of every vacation.
And what a view! We repeatedly saw deer in the forest grove in front of the courtyard, not just casually walking but playing together. It was quite challenging to capture them on camera as they hopped back and forth, so you'll have to see them with your own eyes :)
And on the second floor of the sauna building, there is another spacious bedroom for two.
And what's even more amazing - in the immediate vicinity of The Peaceful Vacation holiday home, just a 4-minute walk through a beautiful forest, you'll find the stunning private Konuti Lake.
During our visit, there were only two people there, which is quite rare in such a beautiful place during the peak of summer. It's a fantastic spot for spending time with children, swimming, and enjoying the summer, while being far enough away to not worry about their safety in the courtyard.
And neither of us has ever seen so many wild strawberries as there are around The Peaceful Vacation holiday home - the forest floor is simply covered in red, and soon we can expect blueberries and chanterelle mushrooms too!
What else to do? We arrived on an empty stomach, so the first thing we checked was if there was a grocery store or café nearby, and voila! Both are just a few minutes' drive away! Our first stop and a great introduction to our vacation in Saaremaa was at Käsitöösahver Cafe Arts, a lovely little café surrounded by art galleries from various artists.
We had a light lunch, comforted a cat that got stung by a bee, and explored the gallery. We also brought two ceramic artworks home for our dining table. We definitely recommend this visit to all art enthusiasts :)
And our favorite was, of course, Panga cliff, which neither of us had visited before. I must admit that we both expected something less impressive, so it was a truly positive discovery to find how beautiful Panga cliff and its hiking trail are. Definitely a must-visit spot!

With a fast-paced lifestyle, it's quite wise to plan get-togethers less frequently but as a larger group and for a longer duration.
